Try to use only natural, chemical-free washing products and keep away from abrasive chemical-based solutions.

Hi, A girlfriend of mine bought me a jar of your cream a while back. I use it on my daughter, (she's allergic to dogs) when she has a flare up it turns into eczema. The cream has been really great, better than cortisone and works faster too.

Q: Can the cream be used as a daily moisturiser?
A: Yes! The formula contains many nourishing ingredients that are great for skin. It also has a firming effect, reducing fine lines and improving the complexion.
Q: What's in the base cream?
A: The base cream is additive free. It contains no parabens, perfumes, colours, or lanolin. Nor does it contain any harmful chemicals, bleaches or abrasives. We use natural preservatives such as rosemary extract, vitamin e and a naturally derived presrvative, suttocide to ensure product integrity.

Q: How long will i need to use it?
A: Everyone's skin is unique. Therefore it is impossible to gauge precisely how long you will need to use the cream. This depends on many factors including the cause of your irritation, skin type, frequency of application and so on. However as the creams contain a range of nourishing ingredients, your skin will start to repair immediately and any itching should subside rapidly. For more serious conditions ongoing and regular application is recommended. The cream can be applied liberally to emolliate the skin. I
Q: What's in sausage tree extract that makes it so effective?
A: The properties in Kigelia extract have a remarkable history of efficacy. The extract contains a number of properties including:
- Napthaquinones (including kigelinone)
- Fatty acids (including vernolic)ourmarins (including Kigelin)
- Iridoids
- Caffeic acid
- Norviburtinal
- Sterols (including sitosterol and stigmasterol)
- Flavonoids (including luteolin and 6 hydroxyluteiolin)

Q: Should I leave the scalp lotion in or rinse it out?
A: For best results leave the Scalp lotion in for a few hours. A handy way to do this is to leave it in overnight and rinse it out in the morning. It is also okay to leave it on for longer or shorter periods, although ideally, give it some time to penetrate.
Q: Should I do a patch test?
A: Yes. Irritation is rare, but as with any product, a patch test is always recommended. Discontinue use if an irritation occurs.
Q: Is the formula safe for infants?
A: Kigelia Formula is non-toxic. However a patch test is recommended. It is advisable to consult a health care professional before using any new application on an infant.
Q: Is the formula safe for animals?
A: See above. Many customers use our formulas on their pets.
Q: Does the sausage tree grow in Australia?
A: Yes. The tree does grow in Australia, although to our knowledge trials have not yet been conducted on the local plants and it's possible that they do not contain the same properties as the African variety. We will update this information as it becomes available.

Q: Is harvesting of the fruit damaging to the environment?
A: The Kigelia africana grows prolifically in the wild throughout Africa. Harvesting is done on a sustainable basis as the trees are not destroyed but cropped.
